Once upon a time, in a dark forest, there lived an outcast Graphic Designer and Illustrator named Emily Beamer. Raised in the woods by the wolves and her mama, nothing made Emily happier than graphic design although sometimes very large earrings and Dolly Parton came awfully close.
Emily is based in Victoria, British Columbia Canada. Emily also serves the West Kootenay region of British Columbia and Vancouver. Emily has a strong creative vision, and believes in unique yet practical designs that suit the client's need. She specializes in Small Business Branding Packages, which include a logo, website, business card, and promtional materials.
Emily has a Bachelor Degree in Communication Design from Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in Vancouver. She also apprenticed at Nettwerk Music Group in 2006. In 2007 one of her poster designs was on The L Word on Showtime Television. Additionally in 2008 Emily won bronze place for the worldwide Illustration contest, out of 15 000 entrants, for the Tokyo Japan based Graniph T-Shirt Company, featured in Nylon Magazine. In 2009, Emily was published in the "Artists of the Kootenays" book by Karla Pearce.
